The Waverley Federation

The relationship with our consortium schools Broadwater, Glebelands, Rodborough, Woolmer Hill and Gosden House, continues to develop strongly and together, as the Waverley Federation we have focused on progression opportunities from Level 2 to Level 3 and on improving the quality of vocational qualifications.

Waverley is one of 38 pilot federations funded originally by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES). It is recognised that much can be gained by schools working together to share good practice and expertise.

S7 Consortium of Sixth Form Colleges

S7 is a collective of Surrey colleges committed to pursuing excellence through collaboration. Each college successfully meets the needs of thousands of 14 to 19 year old students and adult learners and in an increasingly competitive and ever-changing educational environment, the Consortium aims to work together to promote the benefits of sixth form college education and to enhance the quality of provision. This is achieved by sharing good practice and the development of joint approaches to staff development and curriculum initiatives.

The members of S7 are:

  • Bexhill 6th Form College
  • BASVIC
  • Coulsdon College
  • Esher College
  • Godalming College
  • Reigate College
  • The College of Richard Collyer
  • Varndean College
  • Woking College
Establishing strong links with other community partners in the provision of education continues to be a major focus for the College's activities.
