Financial Help

There are several types of support available to assist students who may have difficulties in completing their course because of financial considerations.

16-19 Bursary Fund 2016/2017

The Bursary Fund is available to assist students who may have difficulties in completing their course because of financial considerations and to assist students with unforeseen emergencies where completion of the course could be jeopardised by financial constraints.

The Bursary Fund helps students with direct costs of study such as transport, books, equipment, exam resits and field trips. If you need further details, please visit the GOV.UK  website or Contact Us

Visit the Gov.UK website for information about the Care to Learn Grant  to help with the cost of childcare for young parents (available to under 20's).

Download a Bursary Fund Information Leaflet and the Bursary Application Form if you are making an application to the Bursary Fund in the academic year 2016/17.

If your application is successful, you will be reimbursed in arrears at the end of each half term into the account you have specified on your application form. It is therefore important to retain bus or train tickets and receipts for items purchased for College. These will be used as evidence for making payments.

If you have any queries at all, please telephone Val Jones, Senior Administrator Bursary Fund on 01483 423526.
