Travel and Tourism BTEC First (Level 2) Award

Travel and Tourism BTEC First (Level 2) Award

This course is a practical, one year course that is ideal for students who have an interest in working in the Travel and Tourism industry. Through studying and visiting actual organisations, facilities and destinations, you will build up an understanding of the importance of Tourism to society and national/local economies as well as discovering why people visit specific areas and what they do there. If you would like to study a subject that will broaden your experiences and view of the world, this could be the course for you. The BTEC First Award is a four-unit course that you can study alongside GCSEs or other BTEC level 2 programmes. You will look at a range of topics such as the UK Travel and Tourism Industry, UK/Overseas destinations and Customer Service.
