There is a strong sense of community at Godalming College. Students make new friends quickly and there is a lively friendly feel to campus life. This is reinforced by the + Enrichment offer, which provides opportunities to be active, explore and additional qualifications.

Many students have their own projects and schemes which in the last year has included: awareness-raising for organisations such as the Friends of Dan Eley or Stop the Traffic; fund-raising for charities such as the British Heart Foundation or the Teenage Cancer Trust; involvement in a well-received primary school reading scheme. .

In a survey at the end of the academic year students were overwhelmingly positive about their experience at Godalming. Students feel strongly that they are part of a caring and committed community and that this is a key factor in helping them to flourish.
