IT: Games and Web Development BTEC National (equivalent to two A Levels)

Comprising of eight units, this qualification has six mandatory units: Information Technology Systems, Creating Systems to Manage Information, Using Social Media in Business, IT Project Management, Programming, Cyber Security and Incident Management. Other units covered can cover Computer Games Development, Digital Animation, 2D/3D Graphics, Website Development. This course is designed to provide a very hands-on approach to IT and will include work experience.

Grade 4 in GCSE English Language and Maths.
Assessment
At least one of the mandatory units is a written examination that is externally assessed. Two others involve electronically submitted work prepared under supervised conditions. All other units are covered by the production of a portfolio of evidence.
