There is a strong sense of community at Godalming College. Students make new friends quickly and there is a lively friendly feel to campus life. This is reinforced by the + Enrichment offer, which provides opportunities to be active, to explore new opportunities or study for additional qualifications.
Many students have their own projects and schemes which in the last year has included: awareness-raising for organisations such as the Friends of Dan Eley or Stop the Traffic; fund-raising for charities such as the British Heart Foundation or the Teenage Cancer Trust; involvement in a well-received primary school reading scheme. .
In a survey at the end of the academic year students were overwhelmingly positive about their experience at Godalming. Students feel strongly that they are part of a caring and committed community and that this is a key factor in helping them to flourish.
