The College Community

There is a strong sense of community at Godalming College. Students make new friends quickly and there is a lively friendly feel to campus life. This is reinforced by the + Enrichment offer, which provides opportunities to be active, to explore new opportunities or study for additional qualifications.

In a survey at the end of the academic year students were overwhelmingly positive about their experience at Godalming. Students feel strongly that they are part of a caring and committed community and that this is a key factor in helping them to flourish.

Sixth Form College is an incredible and unique experience – you're here for just two years, but those two years serve as a powerful bridge between school, higher education, and the working world. I’m truly honoured to have been elected as the Student Union President, and the best part of this role is watching our cohort develop into a tightly-knit community, where we support, inspire, and uplift each other every step of the way.
