Godalming College employs around 200 teaching and support staff on both a full and part-time basis. We have around 2000 full-time students age 16 to 19 years on 40 different courses at A level, BTEC and GCSE. The College also offers part-time courses for 14 to 16 year olds from local schools.

The College was rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted at our inspection in December 2019.  The report noted:

The College is within walking distance of Godalming Town Centre and the Railway station which serves the main London-Portsmouth line. Godalming is readily accessed from the A3 and free car-parking is available to staff on the College campus.

Teacher of Economics | Permanent, Part to Full time | Up to £48,355 per year including fringe allowance, pro rata

The College is eager to appoint a suitably qualified and innovative A-level Economics Teacher on a part or full time basis.  An experienced teacher or an enthusiastic new entrant to the profession would be welcomed. The College can accommodate an immediate start, but appreciates that a January start will suit most applicants. As this is currently an extremely difficult subject to recruit for, both locally and nationally, an exceptional payment of up to £2,500 will be offered upon successful appointment and completion of probation as appropriate.

Temporary Teacher of Economics | Temporary, Maternity Cover, Part to Full time | Up to £48,355 per year including fringe allowance, pro rata

The College is looking for a suitably qualified A Level Economics teacher to cover a period of Maternity Leave from October half term. Ideally the successful candidate would be available to start on 4th November 2024 although an earlier start, or a delayed January 2025 start could be accommodated. Depending on the wishes of candidates, we can offer full time but also can be flexible as to the size of part time contracts.
