Godalming College employs around 200 teaching and support staff on both a full and part-time basis. We have around 2000 full-time students age 16 to 19 years on 40 different courses at A level, BTEC and GCSE. The College also offers part-time courses for 14 to 16 year olds from local schools.

The College was rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted at our inspection in December 2019.  The report noted:

The College is within walking distance of Godalming Town Centre and the Railway station which serves the main London-Portsmouth line. Godalming is readily accessed from the A3 and free car-parking is available to staff on the College campus.

Teacher of Graphic Communication Part time | Permanent, Part Time (min 0.4 FTE / 2 days per week) | up to £48,355 pro rata per year including fringe allowance

The College is eager to appoint a suitably qualified and innovative teacher for the Academic year 24/25 on a part time basis teaching A-level Graphic Communication in our Art and Design Department. An experienced teacher or an enthusiastic new entrant to the profession would be welcomed.

Teacher of Maths | Permanent, Part to Full Time | Up to £48,355 pro rata per annum, including fringe allowance.

The College is eager to appoint a suitably qualified teacher to work in the Mathematics Department to teach GCSE, AS & A level. An experienced teacher or an enthusiastic new entrant to the profession would be welcomed.

Temporary Full-time Teacher of Business | 1 year Fixed Term from 27th August 2024 | Up to £48,355 pro rata per year including fringe allowance

The College is eager to appoint a suitably qualified and innovative teacher for the Academic year 24/25 on a temporary full time basis teaching A-level and BTEC Business Studies in our Business Department. An experienced teacher or an enthusiastic new entrant to the profession would be welcomed.

Second in Department of Maths (Part to Full Time/ min 0.8FTE) | Permanent | £51,211-£52,926 per annum (based on full time inc. fringe allowance)

The College is eager to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic teacher and second in Department to join our successful Maths Department. We are looking for colleagues who are passionate about their subject and willing to teach on a combination of courses. You would be joining a team of teachers who between them deliver A Levels in Maths and Further Maths as well as AS Further Maths to over 500 students, in addition to GCSE Maths and Level 3 Core Maths to a further 100 students.

This opportunity arises as a result of the scheduled retirement this year of our highly regarded colleague Second in Department and we would like to open this additional responsibility to external as well as internal applicants. 

Sociology Teacher | Permanent Part to Full Time (min 0.6FTE/3 days a week) | up to £48,355 pro rata per annum including fringe allowance

The College is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and innovative Teacher Sociology, on a part to full time basis from the start of the Academic year 2024/2025 to work in the Sociology department. Am experienced teacher or an enthusiastic new entrant to the profession would be welcomed.
