Results Days 2024

A Level /Level 3 BTEC/EPQ - 15th August 2024

GCSE/Level 2 BTEC - 22nd August 2024

To get your results you can log into your SELF page and click on the ‘Exam Results’ tab at the top of the page via Godalming Online from home.  Results will be available from 8.00am.

Please check your login works in advance of Results Day:

You will need to have your College login number and your password.? Please ensure you check your login works well in advance of the Results Day. ?If you have forgotten your password or log in details, you must contact IT Support before 15th August to make sure you can log in on the day.? To do this, you need to call College on 01483 423526 between 9.00am and 3.30pm any weekday and ask to speak to IT Support, they will then reset your password for you.

Regularly check your emails:

Students should regularly check their College emails for further communications from the College.  It is important to clear your inboxes of any emails as a full mailbox means you will not receive the communication.

Post-Results Service

The College will be running its Post-Results Service. As part of our Post-Results Service, you will be able to speak with a member of our Careers Team or a member of the Upper Management Team.
  • Thursday 15th August: PRIORITY URGENT CASES ONLY (8.15am-3.00pm) – For those students who have missed out on the conditions of the university/higher education firm offer for a 2024 start.  Our advice is to come directly to College to speak to our Post-Results team from 8.15am onwards – this will be done on a first come first served basis.  Please note that we will only be dealing with priority cases (i.e. where a University place has been missed) on this day.
  • From Friday 16th August to Tuesday 20th August (9.00am-3.00pm) –  General advice/queries regarding your results will be available.   In order to access this service we suggest that you arrive at College for a face to face meeting with one of our Post-Results team.  If you wish to apply for any Post-Results services such as a ‘Review of Marking’, we will need a signature in person and payment on the day; this is best done in person to avoid any delay.
  • Thursday 22nd August (8.15am-3.00pm) for GCSE/Level 2 BTEC results queries/advice.

Please note we can only communicate about results with students and not a parent/carer without the student present, unless the student has explicitly emailed in to postresults@godalming.ac.uk to allow their  parent/carer to act as their proxy.

Further details about our Post-Results Service have been e-mailed to students and parents/carers.

Review of Marking and Script Recall

Further information about review of marking and script recall will be sent to you before Results Day.

UCAS Clearing information

Clearing information can be found here: Looking for a course in Clearing? Learn how Clearing works & find a new place (ucas.com).  It might be a good idea to start your research ahead of the Results Day if you think you might need to go through Clearing.  The Universities have a pretty good idea in advance which courses have under-recruited, so the Clearing lists can be published by mid-late July. If you have offers but are not sure, you can do some research before Results Day if you want to look elsewhere.

Exam Certificates:

Please note the confirmation of all your hard work and endeavour (ie your certificates) will be available in late November/early December.  This is proof of your confirmed final grades to show any future educational establishment/employer so it is imperative you receive them. We do not have copies for you should you lose them at a later date (so please keep them very safe). The Exams Boards charge a large fee to search their data for you and provide any form of copy if you lose them in the year to come. Please ensure we have a correct postal address - check your 'SELF' page now (you may have moved since enrolment but didn't tell us or you might be moving soon). Please email exammail@godalming.ac.uk from your student email if you need to change your details.
