The Business BTEC course was a great course for me as it gave me an in-depth understanding of the inner runnings of a business. The course looked at finance, HR, management and international business. But what was the most enjoyable? It was the interview stage. This put us students into a situation that mimicked the interview process of real companies. This gave me a great understanding of what interviewers look for in candidates and how to give the appropriate answers and how to conduct myself properly in an interview setting.
The reason I chose Business BTEC is because I was always interested in business and at the time, I had setup my first business in the rolled ice cream market. I felt that the course could help me run my business better and give me an understanding how business is carried out, and it is safe to say that the course did exactly that.
Business BTEC extended certificate (equivalent to 1 A Level)
I plan on travelling to Australia towards the end of the year. Then, during the summer, I will be in the process of expanding my business opportunities.
