The Spring Term has seen the sports industry pick back up again and this includes sixth form colleges. This term our sports teams have outdone themselves in the leagues and worked together as players, we are so proud of everything they have achieved this term and we cannot wait to see what is next...
Boys Football:
1st team - Have qualified out of the ESFA super-league group with great results against academy sides. On Wednesday the team played against Woking College in the Surrey Sixth Form League final and won 3-0 to us!
2nd team - On Wednesday the team played against Esher Sixth Form College at Charterhouse School and also won 3-0 to us!
Girls Netball:
Have reached 5th round of the AoC National Cup. A fantastic achievement by the girls, competing and winning against some strong opposition, including Barton Peveril Sixth Form College, Esher Sixth Form College and 5 Dimensions Trust Academy.
Hockey:
Currently top of the AoC Mixed League with just a few games remaining. They have also reached the final of the National Mixed Cup, beating Farnborough Sixth Form College, Collyers College, Exeter College and most recently Thomas Telford School in the semi-final. The final will be against Peter Symonds College soon… bring it on!
